Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon: Go time

I’m participating in Dewey’s Readathon again, theoretically for 24 hours though I doubt that will actually happen. I am sleep-deprived enough as it is. Anyway, I’ll be posting progress reports here throughout the ‘thon.

Glad to know it was fixable! My Chaucer-cum-goat-kitteh had the same trobule only he ate a length of sewing thread – and then all sorts of things, including the spare wire off the mandoline cheese slicer! Luckily, the wire is metallic and showed up on X-ray so he got fast-tracked to surgery :) (and he still likes to eat non-food items – glad Emmy will be OK!)

i haven’t even heard of those two books (but i did read your whole post). if the Lincoln one is any good, i’d probably go with that one…i’m ineeresttd to see how you feel about reading a chunkster during the readathon. i avoided putting any book over 250 pages in my pile, but maybe the right book could work.good luck and see you tomorrow during the readathon!
